Overview

Shelley brings over 35 years of experience as a business owner, entrepreneur and consultant. She worked in a variety of business sectors including consumer packaged goods, manufacturing, franchise/licensing and distribution.


Shelley has been a CEO and advisor to privately owned Canadian global organizations for most of her career. She was President of a Canadian national beverage company for 15 years where she pioneered and patented ground-breaking packaging technology. Shelley was President of a North American franchise business where she developed an International strategy that tripled revenues and profits. Shelley was also President of an International importing company that brought in products from over 30 different countries. She also had her own licensing business where she developed and executed a successful brand in Canada out of its traditional markets. Shelley served as an executive advisor for the Business Development Bank of Canada working with high growth firms. Shelley has also served as a board member on many trade and government associations as well as several not-for-profit organizations. She is currently on the International Women’s Forum Canadian Strategic Committee.


Shelley earned her Honour’s Bachelor’s degree from the Ivey School of Business, Western University. She is deeply committed to the development of women leaders in business and beyond and is passionate about art, literature and travel.


Shelley has two adult sons.
