My main research interests concern the understanding of emergent phenomena in equilibrium and non-equilibrium strongly correlated many-body systems. A significant part of my research focuses on the development and use of state-of-the-art numerical simulations to study models that exhibit interesting quantum phenomena such as spin liquids, Bose glasses, unusual nonequilibrium effects in ultracold gases, many-body localization, unconventional critical behavior, and classical statistical optics.
