I am a theoretical physicist interested in dynamical geometries and disordered lattices. Part of the motivation is to study models of quantum gravity, where geometry itself is dynamical, and understand how that affects critical behaviors of matter coupled to gravity. I work on the development of appropriate mathematical tools, in particular random tensor models, a generalization of the theory of random matrices in probability. Such models have naturally emerged in various approaches to quantum gravity (strings, loop quantum gravity, dynamical triangulations). Furthermore I expect them to provide new insights in statistical mechanics: properties of disordered systems, counting problems...
