Research Interests

My research is motivated by trying to understand the structure of quantum field theories, quantum gravity, and string theory. In the recent years I found a natural generalization of the Cachazo-He-Yuan formalism for scattering amplitudes in quantum field theories that makes its connections to string theory transparent and allows for analytic computations. These more fundamental objects are called intersection numbers and take a form of localization integrals on moduli spaces. Surprisingly, they turn out to also play an important role in the study of the analytic structure of Feynman integrals.
