Quantum computers and the current implications on cybersecurity

I will talk about the current state of quantum cryptanalysis, in particular the path toward a large-scale quantum computer, and the algorithmic and software developments that reduce the physical resources required to break currently deployed cryptography.

I will discuss the prospects for cryptography designed to be safe against quantum attacks, and the challenges along the way, and some of our activities in this space.
