Event Horizons is a series of unique and extraordinary events that will stimulate and enthral. It is a showcase of innovative work of the highest international standard, an emotional, intellectual, and creative experience. And perhaps most importantly, it is a social space, where ideas collide and curious minds meet.

These cultural and bistro events are ancillary activities made possible through paid ticketing, private donors, and sponsorships.

CLASSICAL WORLD ARTIST SERIES

The Classical World Artists series is a staple of Perimeter's Event Horizons programming. In the past, we have brought such world-renowned musicians as Yo-Yo Ma, Gidon Kremer, the Hagen String Quartet, Joshua Bell, Evelyn Glennie, and Emanuel Ax to Waterloo.

Perimeter’s Gastronomy series provides exciting opportunities for indulgence. Learn about appropriate wine pairings and artisanal delicacies from elite purveyors of culinary know-how. Meet like-minded foodies and apostles of all things organic. And exchange ideas – epicurean and otherwise – in the esteemed Black Hole Bistro, a highly interactive setting where high-minded conversation is the norm.
