Research foci: quantum computation, quantum information, foundations of quantum mechanics, characterizing quantum mechanics in terms of its information-processing power.  Ordered linear spaces and their applications to the aforementioned, and to other matters such as optimization.  Anything that involves interesting mathematics applied to problems in physics or information processing.
