Sherry Shannon-Vanstone, Co-founder, ex-President & CEO and Chairman of the Board, TrustPoint Innovation Technologies, Ltd.  

From September 2012 to April 1 2017, Sherry leveraged her years of leadership and entrepreneurial experience to provide both day to day and strategic management and direction for TrustPoint Innovation. Sherry and her late husband, Dr. Scott A. Vanstone, founded TrustPoint in 2012 to provide authentication products and services for securing the Internet of Things. On April 1, 2017 TrustPoint Innovation was acquired by ETAS Canada, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Bosch group.

Prior to joining TrustPoint Innovation, Sherry held executive positions in several companies including, MasterCard International where she was Vice President, Electronic Commerce and led a team that developed and deployed secure solutions for both business-to-consumer and business-to-business Internet commerce.

Sherry is currently the co-chair of the Perimeter Institute’s Emmy Noether Council, promoting girls and women in physics and mathematics. She is a member of the board of directors and advisory boards for several private and public companies and associations including the Automotive Parts Manufacturer’s Association (APMA) and Ontario’s Autonomous Vehicle Network (AVIN). She holds a Master of Science degree in mathematics from the University of Tennessee and was a cryptologic mathematician with the United States Government.
