Research Interests

My main research interest is particle physics beyond the Standard Model, and the interplay between particle physics and cosmology/astrophysics. In light of the discovery of the Higgs boson, solution to the electroweak naturalness/hierarchy problem and potential new physics that can be probed through the Higgs boson are important directions to pursue. I'm interested in both theoretical ideas related to these directions as well as their phenomenology at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). On the other hand, modern cosmology gives strong motivation for new particle physics beyond the Standard Model, such as the dark matter and the origin of baryons in our universe. I work on both the related model building as well as potential experimental tests for motivated theoretical ideas.
