My research is focused on the study of 2d and 4d QFTs. I am especially interested in the development and understanding of the integrable structures that emerge in the maximally super-symmetric extension of the 4d Yang-Mills theory (dual to string theory in AdS5). These structures offer one the opportunity to solve the interacting 4d theory by means of methods borrowed from 2 dimensional systems. Recently I have been developing with Amit Sever and Pedro Vieira a strategy for computing scattering amplitudes in the super Yang Mills theory at any value of the 't Hooft coupling. Our approach makes direct use of the integrable structures and allows us to interpolate between the gauge and string theory descriptions at respectively weak and strong coupling.
