Emergency Health Care

The Kitchener-Waterloo area works under a 911 emergency phone number system.  For fast response to any emergency dial 911, tell the operator the nature of emergency, your name, location of emergency, and information about the emergency.

Family Physicians

Walk In Clinics (No appointment necessary)

If you do not have a doctor, or your doctor is not available, medical concerns should be directed to the urgent care clinics or hospital emergency rooms. Urgent care clinics or walk-in clinics are medical clinics that have on-site doctors and nurses that can provide limited medical services and operate on a first-come-first-serve basis.
