Perimeter Institute will cover the cost of round-trip transportation to and from your city of residence to the workshop.
Air
Please contact Kim Schiebel at Goliger’s TravelPlus before October 4th to arrange your flight. PI will be directly invoiced for your flight by Goliger’s TravelPlus. We suggest that you book your flight to arrive at Toronto International Airport (YYZ) or the Region of Waterloo International Airport (YKF). Once your flight is arranged, ground transportation arrangements will be made on your behalf with Airways Transit and instructions sent by email prior to your arrival. Bus or Train
Greyhound bus lines offer transit to the Grand River Transit Kitchener Bus Terminal located at 15 Charles Street West, Kitchener, Ontario. The Charles Street Transit Terminal is a 3-minute walk to the Walper Terrace Hotel by turning left on Ontario Street, right onto King Street.
Via Rail Canada offers train service to the Kitchener Terminal located at the corner of Victoria Street and Weber Street in downtown Kitchener. The Kitchener train station is a 12 minute walk from the Walper Terrace Hotel by heading south on Weber Street towards Gzowski Street, turn right onto Queen Street, left onto King Street.
Car
Perimeter Institute will reimburse participants for their return mileage at $0.45/km.

REIMBURSEMENT: Please submit your receipts and a PI expense form (available upon arrival) for reimbursement by Perimeter Institute if you arrive by bus or train to the conference. For those driving to Waterloo, PI will reimburse for mileage at a rate of $0.45 per kilometre.
Parking
Walper Terrace Hotel - Complimentary valet/overnight parking is available.
Perimeter Institute - Due to construction the PI parking lot is short term (max 15 min). If you are planning on driving to PI please arrive 20 minutes early to allow time for you to obtain a short term parking pass from reception and to park your car in the appropriate lot. This short term pass would allow you to park for the duration of the conference at the Bauer Parking lot on Father David Bauer Drive across the street from the Waterloo Recreation Complex.
Shuttle Service
Shuttle service to and from the hotel to Perimeter Institute will be arranged for conference participants through Elmira Coach Lines.
Morning shuttle: Departs at 8:45am sharp from the side of the Walper Terrace Hotel, Queen Street entrance.
Evening shuttle: Departs following the last session of the day from the PI parking lot: Friday at 8:00pm; Saturday at 4:30pm.

Arrangements for accommodation have been made for all conference participants at The Walper Terrace Hotel. Rooms and taxes will be covered by Perimeter Institute. Check-in time is 3:00pm, check-out time is 11:00am.
