July 31 - August 6, 2011 Perimeter Institute Scientific Area: String Theory The goal of the school is to bring together theoretical physicists of all levels who want to learn both Mathematica and a selected advanced research topic in theoretical physics. This year the topic of the school will be scattering amplitudes. Theory and applied lectures take place during the morning. During the afternoon there will be problem solving sessions. Simultaneously, the Exact Results in Gauge/Gravity Dualities program will start running.

For those who have been accepted into the Summer School, please note the registration fee of $250. CAD is due on or before May 31, 2011. The registration fee includes coffee breaks and lunch for the days of the school, as well as the school BBQ on August 5th. Also included is transportation to/from Pearson International Airport, as well as transportation to/from the University of Waterloo's Ron Eydt Village (please refer to the Transportation Tab above for more details).
