The quantum mechanics of inflation features crucially in the way we understand the power spectrum of fluctuations that gives rise to the temperature anisotropy observed by WMAP and PLANCK. This workshop proposes to investigate a number of issues concerning the calculation of loops as well as the problems associated with the late time or infrared behaviour of fields in de Sitter space. A better understanding of quantum fields in de Sitter may also shed light on the current state of acceleration of the Universe. Click here to view conference talks on PIRSA.
