Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics invites applications from students wishing to pursue full-time graduate studies in the areas of quantum gravity, string theory, quantum information, cosmology, quantum foundations and particle physics. A limited number of candidates under consideration will be invited to visit the Institute in Spring 2008. Perimeter Institute graduate students receive their degree from the University of Waterloo, McMaster University or University of Western Ontario. They are in residence at PI. Application Details Interested candidates should complete the following application requirements by the deadline of January 31, 2008: - Complete the online application form.

- 2 copies of your official transcripts in signed sealed envelopes. If transcripts are in a language other than English a certified English translation must also be included signed and sealed.
- Signed and sealed recommendation letters from 3 referees (duplicates of those submitted online).
- If your last degree was not taken at a Canadian university you must take the Graduate Record Examination (G.R.E.) Subject Test in Physics.
- Applicants whose first language is not English must take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (T.O.E.F.L.) and achieve a score of 550 or higher. The Test of Written English score requirement is 4.0.
