In order to be officially entered into the I Love Science video contest, you must meet all the requirements and complete all steps listed below: A. Create - Prepare a video no longer than thirty (30) seconds in length on the theme I Love Science and why you feel this way.
- Submit to the Dailymotion "I Love Science" group.
- Videos must be shot, edited and produced by students. No professional help is permitted.
- The video must contain a likeness of you (live, still photos, clay-mation, cartoon, etc.)
- The video must not contain content that is inappropriate or dangerous.
- The video must contain only original material. The video must be exceptionally creative and entertaining.
- All entries must be in mp4, avi, or mov format and may not exceed a file size of 2 GB. For detailed technical specifications, see Dailymotion FAQ .
B. SubmitOnce you have created your video, you’ll need to upload it to the Dailymotion I Love Science group. - Go to http://www.dailymotion.com/group/ilovescience.
- Click ‘Upload a video to this group’. A login page appears.
- If you already have an account, log in. If you do not have account, create one at this time. Note that Dailymotion supports OpenID.
- Ensure you are at the I Love Science group page .
- Start uploading your video, as instructed. Then, enter the Title, Channel (Tech and Science), Tags, and Description, as appropriate.
- Once the upload is complete, click Save. Your video is uploaded, and appears on your Dailymotion page. Your video will be reviewed and, if approved, published to the contest group within 48 hours.
- You’ll need your username ID and the video permalink when you complete Part C below, “Register”.
C. Registera) Once you have uploaded your video, complete the contest registration form. YOU MUST COMPLETE THIS FORM, AGREE TO THE OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES AND MEET ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS TO BE OFFICIALLY ENTERED INTO THE CONTEST.
