Perimeter Institute plays an active role in highlighting the wonders and importance of scientific research by providing a multitude of educational outreach programs. The content in each activity is specifically tailored to reach and inspire specific core audiences. Our current programs for highschool students include those listed below.
International Summer School for Young Physicists (ISSYP)
Each session provides a two-week long immersion into the mind-bending world of cutting-edge ideas at Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics in Waterloo, Ontario.
Perimeter Institute’s Director of Scientific Outreach and special guests provide in-class presentations across Canada and, by special request, internationally. The flexible portfolio of interactive lessons provides high school students with a unique view into the exciting world of 21st century theoretical physics.
