Black Hole Bistro
Black Hole Bistro Menu

The Black Hole Bistro is a private retreat for resident scientists, visiting researchers and conference and workshop guests who, quite often, continue their discussions and collaborations over a fine meal.

Various fields of study at the Institute are based on the study of black holes and, consequently, it was a fitting name and unanimous hit. The Bistro began operation on January 7, 2005 and has, since then, become a social hub of the Institute. It provides a comfortable getaway from research offices and serves as a focal point for entertaining all manner of guests. Bistro staff welcome many of the world’s greatest scientific minds to the tables.

Cuisine is structured around fresh local produce and adapted to fit an international palate. Classic recipes are updated with contemporary ingredients and inspiration. The menu changes several times a week.

Please note that the Black Hole Bistro will no longer be open to the public after Public Lectures due to preparation for construction. Our staff looks forward to serving you in the future. Thank you for your understanding.
