Entangling the Frontiers of Condensed Matter and Quantum Information Sciences

This conference will cover a diverse range of topics that touch the boundaries between condensed matter and information sciences. The emphasis will be on brainstorming and group discussions with the intention of increasing the interaction among participants, and generate potential new ideas.

The organizers’ intention is to realize a quite unusual meeting where the emphasis will be on brainstorming discussions. We are planning to have only one scheduled blackboard talk per day (which means a total of 5 scheduled talks). The subjects of these blackboard talks will reflect the interest and background of the participants and they are supposed to be of a tutorial nature. This conference is part of the Taming the Quantum World series of workshops.
