Taming the Quantum World

May 27 to June 29, 2007
Waterloo, Ontario, Canada

This international gathering for scientists is a joint program from Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics (PI) and the Institute for Quantum Computing (IQC) in Waterloo. A full month of quantum-related events will cover a wide array of topics in the disciplines of Quantum Foundations and Quantum Information. Programming will include specialized workshops, conferences and the 7th Annual Summer School for Quantum Information. The variety of talks and activities will offer scientific content and interaction opportunities for all researchers - from graduate students through to leading theorists and experimentalists. This event encourages international scientists studying quantum foundations and quantum information to attend and stay at PI and IQC for longer periods resulting in a lively and collaborative scientific atmosphere throughout the month.
