Below is a list of transportation options from Pearson International Airport in Toronto to Waterloo. All invited participants will have arrangements made for them. If you are an invited participant and have any questions please contact Kate Gillespie kgillespie@perimeterinstitute.ca.

Upon arrival at Pearson International Airport the following options are available for transportation to Waterloo, Ontario.

Most convenient forms of transportation

To arrange limousine service, please call toll free 1-800-328-5501 or go to their website www.thewrightlimousine.com and send your request by email. The rate for The Wright Limousine is as follows: 1-2 passengers - $88.00 (1 way). Please note that for departures and arrivals between 11:00 pm and 3:00 am there will be an additional fare of $19.00.

For arrivals at terminal 1, please depart to the arrivals curb and go to post D1 and see the commissioner. Tell the commissioner your last name and that you are to be picked up by The Wright Limousine Service.

For arrivals at terminal 2, depart to the arrival curb, go to post #21 and see the commissioner. Tell the commissioner your last name and that you are to be picked up by The Wright Limousine Service.

For arrivals at terminal 3, depart to the arrivals curb and go to post #23 and see the commissioner. Tell the commissioner your last name and that you are to be picked up by The Wright Limousine Service.

The fare for Airways Transit for 1 passenger is $69.00 (1 way). To make reservations please go to their website www.airwaystransit.com/reservation.shtml

For arrivals at terminal 1, please proceed to the Airport Ground Transportation booth located on the Arrivals level. For a map please go to www.airwaystransit.com/terminal_one.html

For arrivals at terminal 2, please proceed to Airport Ground Transportation desk located in Area E of the arrivals level. For a map please go to www.airwaystransit.com/terminal_two.html

For arrivals at terminal 3, please proceed to Airport Ground Transportation desk located between Doors B and C on Arrivals level. For a map please go to www.airwaystransit.com/terminal_three.html

c. Car Rentals

Upon arrival in any of the terminals at Pearson International Airport please look for National Car Rental. Their booths are located on the arrivals level. The cost of a car rental is dependent upon the type of vehicle you would like and the length of the stay. • From the airport, follow signs for Highway 427 South/Highway 401.
• Continue to follow signs for Highway 401 West - London.
• Proceed West on Highway 401.
• Exit Highway 401 at Highway 8 West.
• Exit Highway 8 West at Highway 85 North Waterloo
• Exit Highway 85 North at Bridgeport Rd

Cheaper but less convenient forms of transportation

The Toronto Greyhound bus terminal is located downtown at 610 Bay Street, Toronto, Ontario (telephone number: 416-594-1010) To get to the Greyhound bus terminal from the airport, you will be required either to take a taxi (approximately $40 and 30 minutes), or public transit (approximately $2 and 50 minutes). In the latter case, you take the city bus (#192) to the Kipling subway station. Then take the subway to "Dundas" subway station. From here, it is a short walk east along Dundas to the Greyhound bus terminal

When you arrive at the terminal, you should purchase a ticket to Kitchener (the address of the Kitchener bus terminal is 15 Charles Street West, Kitchener, Ontario). The cost of the ticket is as follows:

ii.One way student ticket (with valid identification) - $13.38
