Integrability in Scattering Amplitudes

April 8 - 9, 2010
Institute for Advanced Studies
Scientific Area: String Theory

This workshop is the first of a series of joint workshops organized between the Perimeter Institute and the Institute for Advanced Studies. This first edition will take place at the IAS and the second edition will be held at PI by the end of the summer.

The aim of this workshop is to bring together researchers working on scattering amplitudes in N=4 SYM. The main focus will be on the use of integrable structures in planar N=4 SYM for computing gluon scattering amplitudes.

We will have two discussion sessions every day, one in the morning and the other in the afternoon. The four sessions will be devoted to:
1. Amplitudes and the Grassmannian.
2. Recent advances in perturbative computations.
3. Yangian symmetry in scattering amplitudes.
4. Amplitudes at strong coupling and AdS/CFT.
