Integrability in Scattering Amplitudes

April 8 - 9, 2010
Institute for Advanced Study
Scientific Area: String Theory

The main focus of this informal workshop will be the use of integrable structures in planar N=4 SYM for computing gluon scattering amplitudes.

We anticipate having about 10 to 12 participants and will have two discussion sessions every day, one in the morning and the other in the afternoon. The four sessions will be devoted to:

  1. Amplitudes and the grassmannian.
  2. Recent advances in perturbative computations.
  3. Yangian symmetry in scattering amplitudes.
  4. Amplitudes at strong coupling and AdS/CFT.

Each session will start with one review talk without time constraint and will continue into an informal discussion led by the speaker.

This workshop is the first in a series organized jointly by the Perimeter Institute and the Institute for Advanced Study.
