| Event Horizons is a series of unique and extraordinary events that will stimulate and enthral. It is a showcase of innovative work of the highest international standard, an emotional, intellectual, and creative experience. And perhaps most importantly, it is a social space, where ideas collide and curious minds meet.
Our 2012 season will present a slate of ground-breaking and culturally diverse artistic offerings, featuring artists – both legendary and emerging – working at the cutting edge of their fields. From our well-known Classical World Artists series to the new Singularities series, Event Horizons affords anyone with a healthy appetite for discovery an opportunity to interact with fresh ideas and connect with artists and like-minded thinkers in the intimate settings of the Mike Lazaridis Theatre of Ideas and the Black Hole Bistro.
These cultural and bistro events are ancillary activities made possible through paid ticketing, private donors and sponsorships. Series details appear below.
