Perimeter Institute

This is one-day venue aims to provide an opportunity for condensed matter researchers in Southwest Ontario to gather together and discuss informally their most recent research. The general format of the meeting consists of two guest speakers and 5-6 contributed talks. The meeting is expected to start around 9:00AM and end around 5:00-5:30 PM. A lunch will be served at 1:00PM in the Black Hole Bistro in the Institute. 

This year's guest speakers are Piers Coleman (Physics, Rutgers), and Bill Halperin (Physics, Northwestern).  In 2008, the guest speakers were Subir Sachdev and Collin Broholm.
