Supersymmetric Quantum Field Theories in Five and Six Dimensions

COVID-19 information for PI Residents and Visitors

Conference Date:
Thursday, April 24, 2014 (All day) to Saturday, April 26, 2014 (All day)

The workshop will explore recent developments in our understanding of interacting quantum field theories in five and six dimensions.

Quantum field theories in five and six dimensions play an interesting role in string theory and provide a UV completion for five- and six-dimensional gauge theories.

Recent progress in the calculation of supersymmetric partition functions through localization offers new tools to study these theories and their relation to lower dimensional supersymmetric field theories.
