Preparing for the High-Luminosity Run of the LHC

COVID-19 information for PI Residents and Visitors

Conference Date:
Monday, June 8, 2015 (All day) to Tuesday, June 9, 2015 (All day)
Scientific Areas:
Particle Physics

The workshop will bring together high energy particle experimentalists and theorists to brainstorm about the challenges and possibilities we would have to face with the planned high-luminosity run of the LHC. Among the topics covered are: new detector technologies, their pros and cons; new trigger strategies; contingency plans for each inverse attobarn; confronting increased pile-up.
