4th Canadian Quantum Information Students' Conference
What is Quantum Information?

June 1-5, 2007
Organizers: Jean Christian Boileau and Martin Laforest

The Canadian Quantum Information Students’ Conference (CQISC) is run by and for quantum information science graduate students. Students from across Canada and around the world are invited to attend free of charge. It is a five day event, centered around presentations given by students specializing in research areas including computer science, engineering, mathematics, and physics.

In 2004, the Université de Montreal held with success the first Canadian student conference on quantum information. The two following years, it was held at the University of Calgary. This year, the conference is organized jointly by Perimeter Institute (PI) and the Institute for Quantum Computing (IQC) in Waterloo and is being held at PI from June 1st to June 5th, 2007. It will take place immediately after the Summer School on Quantum Information held at IQC. The conference will conclude on the morning of June 5th.

If you have questions regarding the content of the conference please contact the organizer Jean Christian Boileau at jcboilea@iqc.ca.
